Questions
Where does my data live?
On your device. Your expenses, categories and settings are stored locally (IndexedDB) and we do not receive them. With Pro sync, a copy is stored in our cloud database so you can use several devices; it is protected by per-user access rules. See the privacy policy.
Do I need an account?
No. The free app works fully without an account, and signing in is optional. You need one only for Pro, so your purchase and sync follow you to every device.
What does Free include, and what does Pro add?
Free includes quick free-text entry, offline use, 8 editable categories, the month summary, the share card and a full CSV backup of your data. Pro adds Excel and CSV export by date range, advanced statistics, sync across devices, recurring expenses and extra skins. Pro costs $12.99 a year or $24.99 once for life; both plans unlock exactly the same features.
How do I cancel?
The yearly plan renews automatically every year until you cancel. Cancel at any time with “Manage subscription” in Settings → Pigxel Pro or from the link in your purchase or renewal email (both open the payment provider’s customer portal), or by writing to hello@pigxel.app. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. The lifetime plan has nothing to cancel.
What happens when Pro ends?
You keep the app and all the data on your device. Data already synced to the cloud stays available to read and export, but new changes are no longer synced until you renew.
Does signing out delete my data?
No. Signing out does not delete the data stored on your device. On a shared device, clear the site data in your browser settings. If you sign in with a different account on the same device, the app asks before replacing the local data and offers an export first.
How do I move to another device?
With Pro, sign in with the same account on the new device and your data syncs to it. Without Pro, your data stays on the device where you entered it; the free full CSV backup (Settings → Your data) gives you a copy to keep.
How do I get a refund?
Payments are handled by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record. Refunds follow the provider’s policy and applicable consumer law; write to hello@pigxel.app and we will help. A full refund ends the Pro access it paid for. See the terms.
